Unfortunately, it appears the Mets aren’t taking offers from anyone other than the Padres and Braves, but Syndergaard’s age, controllable years, and track record are all things that would fit very well into the Angels’ goal to contend in Mike Trout‘s prime.
Ryan Falla (@rmfalla): Of all the rumored trade prospective trades for starting pitchers floating around this trade deadline, from Syndergaard to Robbie Ray, Stroman and Mike Minor, I would rather the Angels target someone like Ray or Minor.
