After a 72-90 season, it’s obvious there are problems with the LA Angels. What’s worth questioning, however, is who that blame falls on. Injuries, Tyler Skaggs’ tragic death, and numerous other factors derailed the Angels season.
And throughout all of that, Brad Ausmus did exactly what a manager was supposed to do. He went through the worst season a manager could possibly go through, and in my own opinion, it would be crazy for the Angels to move on.
Can #Angels fans think of one thing Ausmus did badly in his first year? You CAN claim he overused the bullpen, but what other option did he have?
