The hottest hitter on the Angels this past week has been Jared Walsh. Entering the game, he had hit a home run in three consecutive games. Well, he made it four tonight, with arguably his biggest over the stretch. Walsh hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the 11th inning, helping give the Angels to 5-2 victory over the Rockies.
Beginning the inning with a runner on second, Andrelton Simmons walked to put runners on first and second with one out. After evening the count at 1-1, Walsh connected and launched it into the Denver sky.
