Jaime Barria is the Angels’ 29th player added to the roster for Tuesday’s doubleheader at Minute Maid Park. Each team is allowed to add one extra player to the roster for one day during a doubleheader.
Houston added pitcher Humberto Castellanos as their 29th player.
The right-hander pitched 4u2153 last Tuesday against the Giants, then was optioned to the taxi squad on Thursday when Jose Suarez was called up. Others on the Angels taxi squad include pitchers Luke Bard and Kyle Keller, catcher Jose Briceño, and infielder Elliot Soto.
