The Angels just couldn’t chase down the Twins last night, after Minnesota had jumped out to a 4-0 lead. They ended up losing 4-3. They actually out-hit the Twins 11 to 7, but they couldn’t make the hits count that they put together against the Twinkie bullpen. Let’s clarify one small point. Technically they DID lose 4-3. But factually they managed to tie the game 4-4 in the 8th. Assuming a fair Instant Replay review. Gotta ask for one of those, first, however.
