Dylan Bundy is human, Angels split with Giants

On the hottest day of the year for the Angels, Dylan Bundy finally cooled off in Tuesday afternoon’s 8-2 loss to the Giants at Angel Stadium.

Gametime temperature at Angel Stadium was 99 degrees for this one, six degrees hotter than a pair of weekend games against the Dodgers. But the Giants bats were hotter in this one.

Bundy allowed four runs, including two home runs on Tuesday to the Giants, which nearly matched the totals (five runs, two homers) from his first four starts. He lasted just four innings, after pitching at least six innings in his first four times out.
