SEATTLE – The Angels had two players come out of Thursday’s game with injuries, and only one was placed on the disabled list on Friday.
In this season, that has to count as a win.
Cliff Pennington’s name was added to the Angels lengthy disabled list, still bothered by a tight hamstring. He is one of six Angels currently on the DL.
Manager Mike Scioscia said Pennington's hamstring had been bothering him for a couple weeks, and they wanted to get him out before it become more serious.
“Hopefully the DL time (15 days) will be enough for him to come back and be ready to go,” Scioscia said.
