A's torrid run has them tied atop West with Astros

ARLINGTON -- Taylor Ward's first career home run capped a five-run seventh inning that vaulted the Angels to an 11-7 win over the Rangers on a soggy Saturday night at Globe Life Park in a game that was delayed two hours and 26 minutes.

After the Rangers erased a four-run deficit and came back to tie the game at 6, the Angels' bats erupted for another big inning against reliever Eddie Butler. David Fletcher and Justin Upton led off the inning with back-to-back singles, and Albert Pujols brought in the go-ahead run with an RBI single to left field.
