Angels' strong pickoff skills counter slow delivery

Despite a pitching staff ravaged by injuries to Garrett Richards, C.J. Wilson, Andrew Heaney, Cory Rasmus, Tyler Skaggs and Nick Tropeano (among others), the Angels do lead baseball in one interesting pitching category: pickoffs. Los Angeles has picked off 15 runners, which is the most in baseball and nearly double that of the Braves and Reds, tied for second with eight. The Halos are on pace to top the Major League record of 39, set by the 1992 Braves.

Why is that? Mike Trout thinks he knows.
