The Angels stared off their night in Arlington with 5 straight singles from Kole Calhoun, David Fletcher, Justin Upton, Shohei Ohtani, and Albert Pujols. They would go on to send the entire 9 man lineup to the plate that inning and start the game off with a comfy 5-0 cushion. We got this right??
Not to be overly outdone, the Rangers sent 5 men to the plate in the bottom of the first and tacked on 2 runs making this a much less comfy lead. In two starts apparently Taylor Cole hasn’t gotten the memo that a reliever starting the game is supposed to NOT allow too many runs to score
