The Angels have signed a pitcher!
Though it may not be an exciting move, the Angels added a solid depth piece on Saturday morning, agreeing to a minor-league deal with RHP Junior Guerra.
The 36-year-old has been in the MLB since 2015. He’s appeared in a total of 172 games and had started 60 of them. The righty pitched in Arizona last season, posting a 3.04 ERA, 4.12 FIP and 1.35 WHIP in 23 2⁄3 innings of work.
Back in 2016, Guerra started 20 games for the Brewers. He went 9-3 and posted an ERA of 2.
