Back on November 29th, the web-a-sphere was set on fire with the blockbuster trade that sent Tommy La Stella from the Cubs to save the Angels 2019 campaign. Part of that deal was “future considerations” to be sent back to the Cubs. Part of me was hoping that meant Billy Eppler just had to be nice to Theo Epstein at the Winter Meetings and maybe save him a spot in the Starbucks line at Mandalay Bay. But no, apparently that meant the Angels are sending Conor Lillis-White to the Cubs.
