Angels pick up second consecutive sweep

Don’t look now, but the Angels are playing like the hottest team in baseball. They’ve swept two consecutive series, have won six in a row and eight of their last nine games. Probably their best game of that stretch came on Sunday afternoon in their 10-3 victory over the D-Backs.

This game looked over pretty early on. The Angels jumped on the board right away, as they scored two quick runs in the first inning. Justin Upton led off the game with a single and then Max Stassi hit a two-run homer for his fifth of the season.
