Billy Eppler has been busy the past few days, adjusting the 40 man roster leading into the Rule 5 Draft and making a trade with Miami for another arm.
First, Jose Miguel Fernandez who was DFA’d yesterday to make room on the 40 man roster was given his release today. Fare thee well!
Second, to make room for the new trade acquisition, the Angels DFA’d Alex Meyer who had a setback in his recovery.
