Pitching has been a problem throughout their losing streak, and throughout the season, but the effects are noticeably being felt as of late. In the month of September, Angels pitching has a 4.42 ERA in 159.0 IP giving up 86 runs with a 1.45 WHIP.
Offense has also been a problem in September where the Halos rank dead last in runs (57), hits (125), RBIs (55), average (.212), and second to last in OBP (.280). If the Angels had a fully healthy roster, like the one that they rolled out on Opening Day, doubtless these numbers would look different, but these figures are the reality for the Halos right now.
