The Angels have yet to make any trades before the deadline in a few days, as the front office is gauging both the league-wide interest in their roster and the asking price on available players. They could be either buyers or sellers, with selling being the more logical outcome given the underwhelming start to the second half of the season. The Angels need every single player on its roster available to defy the odds and surpass the six American League teams in front of them for a wild card spot, and they just lost two significant contributors.
