Triple-A: Salt Lake Bees
In the first game of a double-header scheduled to make up for a rainout on June 6th, Andrew Heaney struggled mightily last night. He went only five innings and gave up seven earned runs on five hits and four walks. He did strike out seven, but he wasn't able to even record an out in the sixth before being yanked in favor of reliever Frank Hermann.
Luckily, the Bees brought their boomsticks to the park last night. Alex Yarbrough (2B), Jett Bandy (C) and Gary Brown (CF) each smacked a dinger last night, helping to down the Albuquerque Isotopes (COL), 10-7.
