Triple-A: Salt Lake Bees
SP Drew Rucinski pitched seven strong against the Nashville Sounds (OAK) last night, punching out seven, walking one and giving up only one earned run on five hits. He definitely needed a start like that, as the year hasn't been too kind to him thus far.
The offense did just enough, scoring a run apiece in the fourth and fifth innings. Jett Bandy (C) smashed his fifth bomb of the season, and CJ Cron (1B) doubled home Kyle Kubitza (DH), who had drawn a walk in the at-bat prior.
