Today, MLB rosters shrink from 30 to 28, as expected. However, the 28-man rosters will remain in place throughout the remainder of the 2020 season, as announced yesterday.
Following agreement with @MLB_PLAYERS and approval by @MLB Clubs, 28-player rosters will remain in place from tomorrow through end of 2020 season, including the Postseason. Doubleheaders will allow a 29th player, and taxi squads may increase from 3 to 5.

Initially, the original plan was to shrink the rosters down to 26 in a few weeks, but with everything that has happened in baseball over the last few weeks, the 28-man roster will remain.
