On a day the Angels’ front office was completing a flurry of trades and Mike Trout was sent for an MRI on his sore left wrist, the Angels lost, 10-5, to the Houston Astros on Tuesday night.

In a game marked with mistakes and poor pitching, the Angels dropped the first game of a series between the top two teams in the American League West.
