Angels bats go silent, fall to Rangers

It’s not over until it’s over, but the Angels will need a miracle to make the postseason. Needing to win essentially every remaining game, the Halos fell to the Rangers 7-2 on Sunday afternoon.

Texas took the lead in the top of the first, and the rest was history. The Rangers hit a total of five home runs, all of which were solo shots.

Julio Teheran got the start and didn’t last long. He pitched one inning, allowing three runs on two hits. He also issued two walks. Patrick Sandoval entered the game in the third inning and was able to eat innings for the Angels.
