Angels bats go quiet, Jered Weaver gets knocked around in 4-1 loss to Athletics

Jered Weaver got pushed around in a bad sixth inning, and the Angels bats went cold out in the O.co Coliseum heat en route to a 4-1 loss to the Athletics.

Game 2 of the weekend series against the A’s was a pitcher’s duel early on, with Jered Weaver and Jesse Hahn taking the hill for their respective clubs. The two teams played in a sun-drenched O.co Coliseum, and ray shined down to show us whether or not last night was just for pretend, or if the offense would bail once again.

Both Weaver and Hahn would battle out of tough spots, but would mostly keep things under control in the first five innings.
