Well, this looked like it would be a fairly easy recap. The Dodgers were giving the Angels an old-fashioned beating, and this looked like it’d be a brief recap.
Entering the bottom of the sixth inning, the Angels were trailing 13-0. Dylan Bundy, Steve Cishek and Felix Pena all got rocked. The game was supposed to be over. And then, chaos happened.
Over the course of two innings, the Angels scored 11 runs (!!!!) and entering the eighth inning it was a 14-11 game in favor of the Dodgers. Just like that, a game that many people probably turned off was an entirely different ballgame.
