It looks like 2021 will be the final season for Albert Pujols.
According to his wife’s Instagram, the future Hall of Famer will retire at the end of this upcoming season.
“Today is the first day of the last season of one of the most remarkable careers in sports,” Deidre Pujols wrote on Monday.
Pujols, 41, has spent 20 seasons in the big leagues, this upcoming season will be his 21st. He spent the first 11 seasons of his career in St. Louis and has spent the last 10 in Los Angeles with the Angels.
