Albert Pujols passed another milestone on Friday, hitting two home runs, passing Willie Mays for fifth place all-time in a 6-2 Angels win over the Rangers on Friday night in Anaheim.
The first home run for Pujols came in the fifth inning against left-hander Wes Benjamin of, the 661st of his career to pass Mays.
We live in the most prolific home run era in baseball history, but it’s still jaw dropping to be able to watch an active player who ranks in the top five of any significant stat in major league history.
