Albert Pujols provides only offense for night, Angels fall to Astros

The Angels offense couldn’t capitalize on any of their opportunities, going 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position as they fell to the Astros, 8-2. For the night, the Halos stranded 10 total runners on base.

The lone offense on the night came courtesy of Albert Pujols. In the top of the sixth, the 21-year veteran went opposite field for his 665th career home run. This two-run shot were the only two runs scored by the Angels.

Aside from that, the Angels’ offense never got anything going.
