Its a relatively simple concept, if Albert Pujols hits, the Angels win.
Much has been made of the 35 year old slugger with a hefty price tag this season. After a slow start dealing with slumps and injuries, it seems like Pujols is finally getting his swing back. Currently, Fat Albert is hitting .250 with 11 HR and 23 RBI, which is a big improvement from the dismal numbers just a month ago.
The Angels need Pujols more than ever this year. With the loss of Josh Hamilton, there is an obvious drop in run production in the middle of the lineup.
