After spending 10 years in the minor-leagues, Elliot Soto finally got the chance to appear in a major-league baseball game in 2020. After spending time with the Cubs, Marlins and Rockies affiliates, Soto got the opportunity to debut with the Angels on September 25 as a pinch runner.
He didn’t get to hit, but he finished the game playing second base. Soto got his chance the next day, as he was in the starting lineup. In his first career at bat, Soto singled to right field.
