Mike Trout Unanimously Voted AL MVP

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout was unanimously voted as the American League MVP, the first of his career.

Trout had finished second in the MVP voting the past two seasons before finally winning the award this year. The 23-year-old is the 5th youngest winner of the award, but is the youngest unanimous winner.

He batted .287 on the season with 38 home runs and 111 RBIs, and led all position players with 7.9 WAR.
