Larouci was forced off the field in the 80th minute of the friendly at Fenway Park after a challenge for which Joris Gnagnon was shown a straight red card.
The 18-year-old will now require further assessment.
“It looks like he was lucky,” said Klopp at his post-match press conference.
“Of course, how it always is with these things we have to wait a little bit. We don’t know 100 per cent. It looks like he was lucky; I spoke to the Doc and that’s what he said. But we have to see.”
