Coleen Rooney has detailed her husband Wayne's mental health struggles in her new autobiography, My Account.
The WAG, 37, spoke candidly about the couple's marital woes, which she believes were spurred on by Wayne's alcohol misuse and in turn affected his mental wellbeing.
She revealed that his problems stemmed from 'the pressure he’s felt ever since he was a young boy', adding that she's had to console him when he's 'hit rock bottom' and has witnessed him 'break down in his own silent way'.
Describing her husband’s history of heavy drinking, Coleen said: ‘Alcohol has a lot to answer for; as far as Wayne is concerned, it’s often been his downfall.
