Former Derry City winger Trent Kone-Doherty has signed his first professional contract with Premier League club Liverpool.
The 17-year-old, who moved from his hometown club to the Reds last July, impressed in his first season for Liverpool U18s.
Kone-Doherty scored 11 goals for the team and also netted on his U21s debut in August.
The teenager has trained with the Liverpool senior squad.
"A winger blessed with skill and pace, he enjoyed a fine first season on Merseyside with the U18s, scoring 11 goals - including three in the UEFA Youth League - before injury brought an early end to his campaign," said Liverpool on the club website.
