Tim Sherwood has claimed that Jordan Henderson 'was a better captain' than Steven Gerrard during their respective times at Liverpool.
Henderson called an end to his time in Merseyside during the 2023 summer transfer window, when he secured a lucrative move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq.
However, things didn't work out for the England international - who has since opted for a return to Europe and joined Dutch giants Ajax during the January window.
Despite his recent turmoil, it hasn't been enough to tarnish his Liverpool legacy, with Sherwood going as far to say Henderson is 'the greatest captain Liverpool have had in the Premier League era'.
