Liverpool FC would like to update supporters that the ballot to apply for tickets for the fixture against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday December 16 is now closed.
The ballot was opened on Wednesday and the deadline extended to today to ensure all qualifying fans had the opportunity to enter it.
The club can confirm that, based on the number of supporters who have entered the ballot, eligible fans have a one-in-four chance of being selected.
Those fans who are successful in the ballot will be notified later today, with tickets then available to purchase.
Guidance and support from the city’s public health team outlined that the ballot can only be open to supporters who live within the Liverpool City Region.
