Thought it was tough in Saudi, Jordan? Henderson's next club Ajax are having a dismal season... the fallen giants are 23 POINTS behind the Eredivisie leaders, were beaten by a team of amateurs in the cup and are on their THIRD manager of the season

After only a six-month spell in Saudi Arabia, Jordan Henderson has cut ties with Al-Ettifaq and is currently on the cusp of a move to Ajax.

It comes after the former Liverpool captain signed a £350,000-per-week deal to join his old team-mate Steven Gerrard at the Saudi club last summer.

But it now looks as though he will be making a U-turn on his decision to move to the Middle East, a move that could cost him millions in tax after he opted to walk away from his three-year deal with the club.
