Suso never got going at Liverpool but the Spanish winger is now in form of his life at Sevilla... his stunning winner against Valencia was just the latest sign of how far he has come

Former Liverpool winger Suso is in the form of his life helping his new club Sevilla break a club record.

It was a spectacular Suso strike from the edge of the area that gave Sevilla a win over Valencia on Tuesday and the victory meant they had won six on the bounce away from home for the first time in their history.

Asked if his performance against Valencia was his best this season the 27-year-old said: ‘It may well have been and we are on a good run as a team.’

Suso arrived on Merseyside in 2010 but Rafa Benitez, who had fought for the signature of the Cadiz academy product, had already been replaced by Roy Hodgson when he arrived.
