The sculpture, commissioned and donated by Standard Chartered, was unveiled on Thursday.
It depicts Paisley during his days as a physio carrying an injured Emlyn Hughes from the field.
A stark image of solidarity, the scene unfolded during a 1-1 home draw with Tottenham Hotspur in April 1968.

Paisley's Statue: Capturing the Liverpool Way premieres on Sunday February 2 at 9pm GMT and will be available on LFCTV GO.
