Everton manager Sean Dyche said he "was not expecting" to get a message from rock band Green Day after their win at the Merseyside Derby.
Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong congratulated Everton after they beat Liverpool 2-0 at Goodison on Wednesday.
In a video message on X (formerly Twitter) the rock band frontman said the win was a "fantastic victory".
Dyche, who counts himself as a fan after being convinced to see the band live by former England player Stuart Pearce, said the video showed "the power of social media".
