Saudi giants 'want Darwin Nunez for the Club World Cup' with Liverpool striker facing an uncertain future

A Saudi Arabian side are ready to sign Darwin Nunez as soon as the summer transfer window opens, according to a report.

The striker has made just eight starts in the Premier League in 2024-25 and just one in 2025, as it appears he is at the bottom of Arne Slot's pecking order when it comes to Liverpool's attacking weapons.

Nunez's future on Merseyside has been the subject of heavy speculation, with the club previously rejecting an approach from Al-Nassr to sign him in January.

Now, Al-Hilal are plotting a move for the Urguayan on June 1 - the first day of the transfer window - in order to have him available for the Club World Cup, according to Liverpool Echo.
