Mohamed Salah has been named Liverpool's Standard Chartered Men's Player of the Month for August.
The No.11 clinched top spot in a poll of supporters here on Liverpoolfc.com after helping the Reds claim seven points from their opening three games of 2021-22.
Salah was involved in all three goals when Jürgen Klopp’s side began the campaign by winning 3-0 against Norwich City, including a fine, curling finish from the edge of the box to wrap up the scoring at Carrow Road.
He was also on the scoresheet versus Chelsea at Anfield, coolly dispatching a penalty past his former club in a 1-1 draw.
