Sadio Mane will return to Liverpool after having X-rays on a rib injury he sustained on international duty with Senegal.
The 29-year-old was substituted in the 28th minute of Thursday's match against Togo in African qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.
Senegal coach Aliou Cisse confirmed Mane would leave the national squad and travel back to the Premier League club at a news conference on Saturday
Mane injured a rib in a clash with a defender during the 1-1 draw in Lome and had X-rays on Friday.
Senegal put out a strong side in Togo despite already having qualified for next March's play-offs, where the continent's five representatives for the World Cup will be decided.
