Inner Circle Sports, the American firm which helped facilitate Fenway Sports Group's takeover of Liverpool, are reportedly working with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney to buy non-league Wrexham.
The Hollywood actors are in discussions with the National League side and have been on the charm offensive with supporters on social media by watching their opening games of the 2020-21 season.
Reynolds and McElhenney received 97.5 per cent support from a vote held by the Wrexham Supporters' Trust - current owners of the club - to allow them chance to progress their ownership bid.
The Liverpool Echo reports that the Hollywood stars are being supported by ICS in that process.
