A list of Liverpool's wages from 1960 highlighting the huge discrepancies between salaries of current and former players has emerged on social media.
The document was posted by former Liverpool star John Aldridge on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, on the same day Jose Mourinho earned another multi-million-pound payout after being sacked by Roma.
It reveals the staggeringly low wages received by the likes of Reds legend Bob Paisley, widely regarded as one of the greatest managers of all time having led the club to six league titles and three European Cups.
