Liverpool FC's community team, Red Neighbours, is set to relaunch its popular Walking Football sessions next month, following their postponement in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the changes to restrictions and government advice, the sessions will return to Anfield Sports and Community Centre on Monday September 7 and Friday September 11, and at All Saints High School, Kirkby on Wednesday September 9.
Each session will now have added precautionary measures in order to maintain the health and safety of all participants and volunteers.
Walking Football is designed to encourage over 50s to engage in regular physical activity in an enjoyable and social setting.
