Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal says he's prepared to welcome the challenge of competing with Trent Alexander-Arnold at the Bernabeu next season.

The England international is expected to join Real Madrid in the summer, with Los Blancos hopeful of signing him early for the Club World Cup.
And Carvajal has seemingly confirmed the transfer after claiming he's motivated by the heightened battle for a spot in the lineup.
