Real Madrid 'miss out on £13million of revenue in four days' as huge clash against Liverpool and Saturday's El Clasico grudge match with Barcelona are played behind closed doors

Real Madrid have reportedly missed on €15million (£13m) of revenue by having their matches against Liverpool and Barcelona behind closed doors despite reduced expenses.

Zinedine Zidane's men beat the Reds 3-1 in midweek at the empty Estadio Alfredo di Stefano - which Jurgen Klopp criticised - and now have one foot in the Champions League semi-finals.

And now the Spanish giants face the prospect of El Clasico on Saturday without their passionate fans - as well as a significant hit to their finances, according to MARCA.
