Real Madrid have reportedly 'accelerated talks' with Liverpool over an early transfer for Trent Alexander-Arnold in the hope that he can play for Los Blancos at this summer's Club World Cup.
The Spanish giants are said to be keen for the right back before his contract officially expires on June 30.
However, Liverpool are determined to hold out for a fee if the Reds are to release him early, given that he will depart his boyhood side as a free agent.
According to a report from The Times on Thursday night, Real's desire to seal Alexander-Arnold's arrival could see a deal completed within the next 24 hours.
