The teenage Academy graduate has impressed during the Reds’ run to the final of Europe’s premier club competition, playing 11 times in the tournament so far this term.
And Alexander-Arnold, speaking after collecting the Young Player of the Season prize for the second year in a row at Liverpool’s Players’ Awards ceremony, wants to take his number of appearances to a dozen against Real Madrid in Kiev on May 26.
“[It’s] a dream come true. There’s something special about the Champions League and it’s always been a dream to play in that competition and to get the chance to, especially 11 times, it’s an honour and I love doing it and hopefully I’ll get the chance in the final,” the 19-year-old told Liverpoolfc.
