Paul Scholes believes Manchester United are still 'three or four' additions away from competing for the Premier League title as he claims rivals Manchester City and Liverpool are ‘streets ahead’

Paul Scholes says that Manchester United are 'three or four' signings away from competing for the Premier League title as the Old Trafford icon praised new arrival Bruno Fernandes.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side lie in fifth position and a mammoth 37 points behind league leaders Liverpool, but performances before the suspension of the season have left fans with cause for optimism.

That is in no small part down to the resurgence of the side with new signing Fernandes in the team. The Portuguese has settled well into English football, scooping February's Player of the Month award.
