OGC Nice 'want to keep Kephren Thuram for another year' despite strong interest from Liverpool

Liverpool have been dealt a huge transfer blow as OGC Nice reportedly wish to keep midfielder Kephren Thuram for another season.

It was previously reported that Jurgen Klopp's side had opened negotiations over a deal for the 22-year-old.

However, Nice-Matin have now reported that the Ligue 1 side are looking to keep the star for another year despite Liverpool's interest.

Thuram is currently on international duty with France Under 21s and therefore the deal is though to currently be on hold.

He 'does not want to deal with his club future' until he returns from international duty, a decision which was taken by his father Lilian.
